ORCKA River Running Level 1A Tandem

ORCKA River Running Level 1 tandem provides an introduction to white water paddling for those with little or no experience in white water. Emphasis is on tandem canoeing skills, understanding white water principles and safety. Participants receive ORCKA River Running 1A certificate.

Prerequisites:

ORCKA Basic Level, equivalent certification or comparable skills and experience (with permission of the Course Director)

Times: 8:30am-4:30pm daily

Cost:$225 (plus HST)

There is additional camping fee of about $20 per night for about 3 or 4 nights payable to the camp ground.

Physical Difficulty:

Some fitness required. Participant must be comfortable in water with lifejacket.
